A Season of Promise a Season of Providing
for the Poor As we move into our new building we begin a new era of
expanded ministry made possible by the capacities of our new facility. What we have built is attractive, functional, efficient and made to last. How can we best enter this new day of ministry? It has been said that a church goes forward on its knees.
Prayer is central to all we do. As we enter God’s good future
we have marked off 100 days, May 24 through August 31, as
a season of prayer during which we will focus on promises God
has made us in His Word. Each Sunday, through the end of
August, we will print seven promises from the Bible in the bulletin, one for each day of the coming week. For every circumstance and season of life, God has promises that offer direction, peace, perspective and wisdom. It is also a season for providing for the poor and those in need. During our 100 days ask the Lord to guide you to help someone
less fortunate. Yes, we are in the midst of an economic
downturn, but we are still blessed mightily by the Lord.
