Depending on what type of home we grew up in, those two words can evoke thoughts of warmth and love, or sometimes despair and even bitterness.
The same is true when it comes to our thoughts about God. Some of us picture God as good and welcoming; others of us see God as judgmental and harsh. So, what is God really like? And is it safe to go home to God?
Over the next 6 weeks we’ll explore these ideas by taking a look at perhaps the most famous story Jesus ever told: the Prodigal Son. The great news is that it’s not only possible for us to go home to God; it’s the one place where we will find real love.
Come re-discover love.
Sundays at 9 AM and 10:45 AM. April 16 to May 21.
Throughout this series we will be using Tim Keller’s book, "The Prodigal God", as a guide. You’ll get the most out of this series by reading this book. You can order The Prodigal God here. Or, pick one up on a Sunday morning at the table on the patio after either service.
We believe you will find us to be a warm and welcoming community. We look forward to getting to know you!
