Life Verse:
A Bible verse that has encouraged me over and over is 1 John 4:4 “He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” The Holy Spirit has brought this to my mind many times; especially when things are tough and I need a boost. What I consider my ministry verse is Ephesians 4:11-12 “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ.”
Ministry Passion:
Winning souls and making disciples
Just for Fun
If you could leave tomorrow and travel anywhere in the world for as long as you want where would you go? I’ve never been to Israel, and I really want to see the land of the Bible.
If you could interview any person living today who would it be?
Pat Robertson. I know he is a rather controversial figure, mostly because of how the news media blows what he says out of proportion…but I don’t know anyone alive who has made a greater impact on the landscape of America, and the world, for the kingdom of God. I would also love to meet Reinhard Bonnke, the powerful German missionary to Africa, who has in this current century won millions to Christ through mass evangelism crusades, preaching an anointed gospel message.
What is your favorite book of the Bible?
Psalms. I find peace, wisdom, and comfort there, and of course worship is stirred by the words of the ancients who worshiped God in prose and poem. Many great men have found the same things in this book, such as Abraham Lincoln and General Douglas Macarthur.
If you could have any super power what would it be?
If I could have any supernatural gift from 1 Corinthians 12, it would be the gift of faith, to believe God for extraordinarily huge results in the life of our community and our church, for a tsunami of new souls, for hundreds and even thousands to be healed, for massive sums of money to flood into the work of the ministry enabling us to reach those who have not yet found salvation in Jesus Christ, and for a militant church to rise up in revival to seek and save the lost.
