Intergenerational Worship Services

All Sundays in August

9:00 AM and 10:45 AM, Sanctuary

Join us August 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th as the whole family gathers together in God’s presence during our Intergenerational Services!  There will be Sunday school classes for kids Kindergarten-age and under and one class for families with children with Special Needs.  For children going into first grade and up, packets will be available so they can follow along with the service.

GriefShare: Help and Encouragement After the Death of a Loved One


Mondays, starting August 14, 2017

6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Chapel

Cost: $15 for the workbook

GriefShare is a 13-week support group for anyone grieving the death of a loved one. Every session is "self-contained" so attendees are welcome to join at any point in the series.  This series is designed to help you successfully travel the journey from mourning to joy.   Register at the information table on Sunday mornings after the services or call the church office.

Cancer Support Prayer Meeting

Teddy Bear Picnic

Children 5 and older and their moms

Come to the Teddy Bear Picnic hosted by Women's Ministry - Love Bears All Things! For children age 5 and older and their favorite "mother". Bring your mother, grandmother, aunt or "like a mom". There will be games, kid's crafts, food, photos and fun! You will be beary glad you came! Child care is available for children under 5. Please come to our lobby table after the Sunday morning worship services for more information and to purchase tickets. Cost is $12 for a child and "mother" ($15 at the door); $3 for each additional child ($5 at the door).

Western Seminary Courses at CCCM

Our CCCM church family may now AUDIT classes at Western Seminary at no cost.  Western Seminary brings a wonderful opportunity for quality enrichment to CCCM by offering Seminary classes from highly qualified professors to our congregation, right on our church campus.  Many courses are offered evenings and weekends. These classes will help equip you to disciple others. These are a few of the classes, but there are many more:
   -  Practicing Prayer and Other Key Disciplines
   -  Discovering and Developing Your Ministry Potential
   -  Practicing Evangelism and Apologetics

Spiritual Parenting Seminar - Elementary

For parents of elementary-age children

As a parent of an elementary student, learn to nurture your child's faith by teaching him/her to love God's Word and talk to God through prayer.  Learn to feel comfortable sharing the Good News of the Gospel with your child.  Find out the meaning of Communion and how your family can learn to cherish it.

Communion Training for Parents

September 10, 17, or 24

Chapel (Sep 10, 1:30 PM) or Sequoia (Sep 17 or 24, 10:15 AM)

We are getting ready for our first family communion on Sunday, October 1, which is also World Communion Sunday.  To do this, we would like all parents with children from six years of age through Elementary age to attend either our Spiritual Class for Elementary age children on Sunday, September 10 from 1:30 pm – 5:00 pm or a short training in between services (10:15 – 10:45 am) on Sundays September 17 or 24 in the Sequoia Room.  We can’t wait for many families to begin taking communion along with the larger church family!
